We Are Family

                                              We Are Family On earth, we talk to each other in three gentle and soft languages. “ Love, Respect, and Peace. “ We do not even recognize others but there is no doubt that we are a big family. A big, rally family. Respect, let us forsake the strange between different countries. Peace, let us forget the arguments which are not necessary. And love, let us link our heart together tightly and closely. We are not enemies. We are just a sweet family. A pleasant family is built with “ Love, Respect, and Peace.” Tina Chen

The food project

In my opinion, food is one of the most thing that can best represent a country. For example, there are plenty of food that can represent Taiwan. And each country has its own rules for having a meal with others, too. So, I really enjoy the project about our food. My favorite part is the Table Manners. I learned a lot about the differences between Taiwanese table manners and those in other countries. And some of the rules really shocked me such as, " If you can' t eat anymore, just keep the food in your plate. " How cool the thought is for the foreigners!
I am also interested in how we make the Taiwanese food by ourselves in school. The spring roll ice cream, the Chinese hamburger, and even the Hakha ground tae were yummy and helped me get more knowledge about Taiwanese food! I really love the project about food. I hope that we could hold more activities like this in the future.

A trip to Kenting

During my summer vacation, I did a lot of things. I went to the cram school almost every day, but, fortunately, I still went to some places for relaxing myself. I went to Kenting in the beginning of my vacation. I went there every summer because I really like the sunshine, the beach, the sea, and everything there. My family and I arrived there in the afternoon. Although it was REALLY VERY HOT, we still went to the beach, without any protecting for the sun. I cannont wait to jump into the sea. It's a little cool but I felt very comfortable. I also went down into the sea. Then I saw many different kinds of corals and fish there. How beautiful a place it was! I had a great time with my family at the beach. At night, we all went to the most famous place in Kenting, the night market. I bought a fake flower there. It cost me forty dollars. I put it on my hair, just like everyone at the night market did. It's really interesting. After that, my brother and I got some painting on our hands. The man who gave us the paint told us the picture can be keep for one week. We were so happy to hear that. Finally, we bought lots of things to eat. Then we went back to our hotel. The trip was only for two days, but I think it was the best experience for me this summer. I hope I could take a trip to Kenting again.

Field Trip

Today is Wednesday. Our club has a field trip. I think it's about the environment. Because of the trip, I have to leave my school about twelve thirty. So when my classmates were all sleeping, I was on the bus, of course, with my " other " schoolmates in the BBC.
The thing that couldn't imagine was that we still got some " homework " for the trip. Actually, that's not a good news. I learn a lot of knowledge from plants and insects from the trip. We walked and walked and walked, talked and talked and talked. It's very hot outside, and we were very tired when the bus driver " finally " took us to our school. It wasn't a funny trip, but any way, it was full of " knowledge ".

A NIGHTMARE

Then I just followed the sound. I finally found that someone was in the kitchen and yelled " HELP! " to me. I went into the kitchen as soon as possible and I saw the craziest thing. A thief was in my house! At first, I didn't know whether he was going to steal my things or not. But when I read the words on his T-shirt, I almost laughed out loudly. " I'm the smartest thief on earth! " How SILLY! So I told him, "Get out of my house in one second, or I will call Ma Ying-jeou! " He didn't move at all. I was so angry that I shouted again, " Get OUT! " He didn't look at me because his head was in the refrigerator. He said, " I'm really sorry, but I was too hungry last night. I have to find something to eat now. However, unfortunately, your refrigerator is too small, my head can't get out anymore. Please help me to pull it out, please! " I laughed out again! " Do you think you're still the smartest, Mr. thief? " I asked him seriously. Oh! This time, he almost cried. No, he really did. My ears hurt! Then I couldn't even open my eyes. I fely very terrible. After a few minutes, I heard another sound. That was like the music of my alarm. I opened my eyes and looked around. The thief was gone! The sun was high in the sky. I felt confused at fist. But now, I'm glad it was only a dream.

My father

My father is a handsome man. He is very tall and very kind, too. He is busy every day. He is a hard-working worker so I don't talk to him very often. But he loves me very much. He always trys to talk to me with cell phone even though he is in his company. He is a funny person. He likes to tell jokes to make everyone laugh. We all like him. No matter how busy he is, he is my favorite guy in the world.
